With Elijah just born and having visitors in and out, we crammed our traditional pumpkin carving into a busy day. Of course, Dad did most of the work!

We celebrate Elliot's adoption day every year on October 31 so it's usually a busy day. In the opening scene, Emma and Elliot are sleeping on each other in what we call "the buggie" (bike trailer). The kids and I bundled up and rode down to the park for a little while. On the way back the kids were dozing off. Emma wanted me to do a few more rounds around the block so they could sleep.
We had ice cream sundaes to celebrate Elliot's Adoption Day.
Oh... the sugar.
Elliot opened up some new toys!
What lucky kids to get 2 celebrations a year! Emma & Elliot's adoption days are roughly 6 months after their birthday. So this puts Elliot at 3 1/2 years old. Of course, growing up so fast!
Well, now that that's done, time to get ready for Trick-or-Treat! (more sugar)

I was able to capture a rare moment where Emma and (mostly) Elliot were actually willing to cooperate and answer some questions. Check out this video. Kids say the darndest things!
